I've been sewing and making clothes for as long as I've been able to read (not correlated, you CAN be illiterate and sew), and learned most of what I know from my Nana- designer and seamstress for Beeline Fashions. I also studied costume design and construction at Vanguard University, where I worked in the costume shop.
And now continue to read, watch, play, and practice.
While my special interests are vintage and reconstruction, I do it all - bridal, vintage, reconstruction, custom, alterations, dye jobs, sourcing.
So how does it work?
Well, that depends on what you want! But all options start with us chatting about it.
Do you need your pants hemmed? Skirt waist not quite fitting right? Want your wedding dress a new color? Can't get rid of those jeans but won't wear them as they are?

From there, we will set up the next step-
In-Person Fitting!
Exactly what it sounds like - you book an appointment, bring whatever clothing we're working with if applicable, and we get to work.
I will take measurements, things will be pinned, and pricing estimates will be put together. We will also discuss timeframes and plan for any additional fittings that may be needed to get more complex projects just right.
I cannot give you an accurate price estimate or even know what can be done until I see your clothing in person!

If cost is a barrier, please touch base still! While I can't work for free, we can always work out an alternative, whether that be a different alteration or a trade of sorts (tarot, tattoos, vintage clothing, etc.).

Payment for all alteration services or custom pieces is due at final pick up - if you purchase a clothing item from my stock, payment for that item will be due prior to any alterations being done to make that item 'yours'.

While I am happy to help you source your own pieces, I always have a constant rotation of pieces ready for you to customize. Any can be tried on during a fitting. Prices do not include any custom alterations.
